概述:
The CP8384 is a synchronous step-down DC-DC
converter with a supply-voltage range of 4.1V to 32V,
it can withstand input voltage over 40V and output a
high precision constant voltage or constant current. The
CP8384 has a built-in upper MOSFET of 80mΩ and an
upper MOSFET of 40mΩ, it can continuously output
4A current without external Schottky diode. The
maximum conversion efficiency of the system can
reach 93%, and the maximum duty cycle is 100%.
The CP8384 does not need external compensation and
can rely on its own built-in stable loop to achieve
constant current and constant voltage control.
The CP8384 has input overvoltage protection function,
when the input voltage exceeds 30V, the chip enters the
off mode and the chip can withstand the peak voltage
of more than 40V. It has the function of output shortcircuit protection, when the output is shorts, the chip
will burp and restart until the fault is removed, then
restore normal output.
The CP8384 has special overheating protection
function: when the chip temperature rises to 150℃, it
will enter the constant temperature mode and
automatically reduce the output power to reduce heat
generation, and maintain the working junction
temperature of 140 ℃. If the temperature cannot be
controlled, the chip will turn off the output, when the
temperature drops to 130 ℃, the chip will resume work.
The CP8384 has input undervoltage protection, output
overcurrent protection and output overvoltage
protection, it has extremely high reliability.
